A book review for you
I always find it satisfying to see something I've shared on Hear You Go podcast appear in mainstream media.
If you've listened to Episode 93, "You've Got Mail", then you will remember that I recommended the book, The Correspondent, by Virginia Evans.
Here is a link to a book review I read this morning in The Guardian newspaper:
Read it for pleasure, or for language development.
If you select the latter, I suggest you listen to the podcast again, and then read the article. Listen and read for language that is similar in both materials. Are similar ideas expressed, and if so, are they shared using the same vocabulary and expressions, or are they conveyed using different linguistic choices? Compare and contrast, and think about how YOU might express the same ideas. Finding your voice in English is the next step 😁.
I hope you don't mind this impromptu message. To my mind, there is nothing better than sharing information about books!
