Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of shutting down my email service on my website (it will cease to exist in September). Additionally, we're coming to the end of Hear You Go podcast. It will conclude in late July.

I'm excited to be planning what comes next.

For now, here are some musings connected to the latest episode of Hear You Go. Notice that I've highlighted some advanced language for you to investigate independently.

I know I keep **harping on about** the importance of doing things offline, and here I go again.

If you think it’s **tedious**, I’m sorry. But not really.

We’re kinda screwed, in a heap of trouble, if we hand over all our lives to the internet.

- **To harp on about something** is a phrasal verb that means to talk about or complain about something all the time.
- **Tedious i**s a C1 adjective meaningboring.

We can’t **turn back the clock**, we can’t go back in time, and **ditch** our digital world, and why would we?We **reap** enormous benefits and efficiencies because of it.

However, **there’s a lot to be said for** some of the things we did in analogue fashion not all that long ago. When we use this idiom, it suggests that there are many advantages to something.

Of note today is letter writing.

In today’s episode of the Hear You Go podcast, I tell you about a book that is written in **epistolary** form, and while doing so, I tell you why letter writing is not such a bad thing.

Shall we bring it back into fashion?

For now, enjoy this episode.

Tata for now,

Catherine
